I absolutely adored the vintage decor throughout the hotel. The cozy furniture and charming touches made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and provided a lovely atmosphere for relaxation. Additionally, the hotel's accessibility for senior people was outstanding. There were no stairs to navigate and the layout was designed with ease of movement in mind.
The only thing I would ask for to make the vacation even better for senior people would be a few more staff members available to assist us. The children working there did their best, but sometimes it was a bit overwhelming for them to handle everything on their own.

We stayed at Loughview for one night and it was a fantastic experience. The room was spacious and clean, and the shower/toilet was comfortable. The location in the heart of Bangor was perfect, and the vintage decor throughout the house was charming. The living room offered great views of the sea, and Orla was a kind and helpful host. Breakfast was satisfying and the self-service option was convenient. We will definitely choose Loughview again if we return to the area.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

The room at Loughview in Bangor was amazing! It had a wardrobe and a TV where I could relax and unwind after a long day of business meetings. The terrace with the sea view was absolutely breathtaking and the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of tea in the morning. The private bathroom was clean and well-equipped, providing all the necessary amenities. The bed linen and towels were also top-notch, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I even had a fridge to keep my drinks cool during my stay. my experience in the room was fantastic!
If I had to pick one thing I liked less about the room at Loughview, it would be the lack of a tea/coffee maker. However, this is just my personal preference and others may still find enjoyment in the room.

We had a wonderful stay at Loughview! The location was perfect, with easy access to the sea side walk and stunning views from the private living room. The hosts were extremely welcoming and accommodating, even allowing us to check in late at night. We had no trouble finding parking on the street either. The room had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. The breakfast offered was light but adequate, and we enjoyed it while admiring the fantastic view. we highly recommend staying at Loughview for a great experience in Bangor.

Great value for the money. The room at Loughview was spacious, clean, and had a comfortable bed. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Bangor, with beautiful sea views. The staff, especially Orla, were kind and attentive, making us feel right at home.
The food for breakfast could have been better, maybe more options or a hot meal choice.

The nearest airport was conveniently close, perfect for my speedy getaway. The continental breakfast was a delightful start to the day. Plus, the property's location made it easy to explore the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum. Cons: Such a shame the Waterfront Hall was only 22 km away. I was hoping for a longer adventure!
